Гонки между наземными и воздушными средствами транспорта не так уж и редки, но суперкар Lamborghini Aventador участвует в такой впервые. На взлетной полосе одного из европейских военных аэродромов состоялась его дуэль с многоцелевым истребителем F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Такую необычную гонку организовал датский автомобильный журнал Bilmagasinet. Организаторы заезда, впрочем, не поделились никакой информацией, ограничившись публикацией небольшого видеоролика, запечатлевшего все перипетии дуэли между автомобилем и самолетом.

Судя по видеозаписи, в гонке участвовали весьма распространенный истребитель F-16, созданный в США и итальянский суперкар Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Хорошо видно, как во время движения по земле автомобиль уверенно лидирует, но после взлета истребитель легко оставляет суперкар позади. Ничего удивительного в этом нет: даже над землей F-16 Fighting Falcon способен преодолеть порог в 1 400 км/ч. Отметим, что Lamborghini Aventador оснащается 12-цилиндровым двигателем объемом 6,5 литра, развивающим 700 л.с. На ускорение до 100 км/ч у суперкара уходит всего 2,9 секунды. Максимальная скорость суперкара составляет 350 км/ч, у F-16 же этот результат превышает 2 200 км/ч.

Стоит добавить, что еще в 2007 году подобный заезд организовывало популярное автомобильное шоу Top Gear из Великобритании, выходящее на канале ВВС. В нем участвовали Bugatti Veyron и истребитель Euro Fighter, и гонка закончилась примерно тем же образом.
